The Hays Youth Soccer Assn Golf Classic! benefitting the Fusion 94, 97 and 98 Boy's Teams! We had a great time on Saturday, June 12th at the HYSA Golf Classic at the beautiful Plum Creek Golf Club in Kyle, Texas. We started out with a pre-tournament Long Drive contest on the Driving range in view of the entire field of players. Four guys gave it a swing with the winner being Michael Whatley of Sports Authority hitting a 268 yard drive into a 20 mile-an-hour wind to win it by 2 yards! What a shot! The team of Schimming, Moren and Moren came in first after a score card playoff with a score of 12 under 60. Thank you to our Ace Sponsor, Lewis Sign, our Eagle Sponsors, Absolute Pest Management, Ember Industries, Herring Sales, Inc., Lost Pines Car Wash, and New York Life, and all of our Tee Box Sponsors for helping us raise over $2,344 for the three Fusion teams of HYSA! We traded in the soccer cleats for golf shoes and we did it in style!
